This mid-terrace property, situated on the outskirts of town, has undergone a significant transformation due to its previous state of disrepair.
The property was completely gutted, and the existing rear extension was entirely demolished. Originally a 2.5-bedroom layout, it has been thoughtfully redesigned to feature three generously sized double bedrooms, along with an expanded open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area. Notably, a ground-floor shower room and utility space have also been added to enhance functionality.
Attention was given to the potential impact on neighboring properties to the north and south, with measures taken to limit overshadowing by stepping back the first-floor extension at the rear. The removal of the existing chimney breasts, which extended from the ground floor to the roof, has further enhanced the floor area. A substantial opening at the rear has been created, featuring bifolding doors, facilitating a seamless connection between the kitchen and the outdoor space.
