Introducing Evans Architecture Ltd, launched in January 2018 and incorporated in January 2019.

Presenting Silvie, the owner of Evans Architecture. Silvie has been in the construction industry for some years now, having graduated from the University of Brighton in 2009. Having worked with a few local Architects practices, Silvie has gained some valuable experience in the construction industry, ranging from new build domestic projects to extensions and house refurbishment projects for private clients.

Silvie is also a Chartered Architectural Technologist and Evans Architecture Ltd is a CIAT Chartered Practice (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists), allowing any project to be realised with consideration to the design, technology and how the building preforms through form, function and fabric.
Carrying out any home improvements, regardless of size, can be a daunting prospect, however Silvie strives to make this an enjoyable experience by providing an efficient and informative service to any home owner. Silvie has an approachable and welcoming personality which can make you feel at ease through the entire process.

02 Fees
Evans Architecture understands that the thought of carrying out any building work to your home can be overwhelming. To ease this, Silvie will be happy to meet with you for a free consultation to discuss what your needs are and to explain the processes required.

Fees are typically calculated as a percentage of the total construction costs, however it is usual that the construction costs are not known at the initial stages and the scope of works may not be decided. In order to make it clear from the start of your enquiry with Evans Architecture, Silvie will discuss your needs and prepare a brief which will outline the scope of works, what services Evans Architecture will provide you and what pricing method best suits you.
Fixed Fee - This is the most appropriate pricing option for smaller projects, such as home extensions. From your meeting with Silvie, the services required by Evans Architecture will be confirmed and the pricing will be easily and accurately forecast. A breakdown of the fixed fee for each service will be provided and upon completion of each service, the amount will be billed.

Hourly rate - This provides you with flexibility if you are unsure of the scope of works required. Evans Architecture can provide a competitive hourly rate. A comprehensive record of the time spent will be kept and will be billed at agreed intervals.
